Fender Custom Shop 1957 Stratocaster Relic Roasted “Historic Makeovers” Refin Blackie

Here we a a really special Fender Custom Shop ’57 Stratocaster that’s had its body reshaped, painted and relic’d by Historic Makeovers.  It started as a roasted body and neck’d ’57 relic Stratocaster but to really get the tone right the body was sent to Historic Makeovers and stripped to complete their process.  The contours were hand shaped to nail those of a real ’57 and then a thin nitro finish was applied with just some light checking and relic work.  The plastic was replaced with bakelite repro from the UK and the transformation was complete.  COA’s from Fender and Historic Makeovers and case candy, shop traveller and the fender case shown complete the package.
