The Deluxe series from Fender is a personal favorite of mine and I’ve owned many nice ones over the years and this particular montego black version stands out. With its black finish/gold guard and maple neck she really has that vintage Gretsch vibe going. The Deluxe series gave you the player options of Fender noiseless pickups, S-1 switching, body contour, body binding, abalone dots, a beautiful foil Fender logo. This was the top of the line Telecaster in 2004 and this one plays and sounds great. The condition is very good as she’s been played and owned by the original owner until a recent trade landed her here at Watchtower. She ships in the OHSC with hang tags and strap locks shown.
